NAFA Conference

NAFTA’s Contribution to North American Competitiveness Duke University, Durham, NC - October 22, 2014

The goal of this one-day conference is to reflect on NAFTA’s effectiveness over the past 20 years, but more importantly to consider the future of North American competitiveness in the globalized context of trade. Of particular interest and consideration will be the exploration of further opportunities for competitiveness – internationally, nationally, and in North Carolina.

The conference will bring together experts in academia, government, and industry to create a rich and dynamic program consisting of four moderated panels. The topics addressed in these panels include the history and politics of NAFTA, North American competitiveness, government perspectives, and the experience of local business in North Carolina.

This conference is free and open to the public, with registration required.
