Paul Meade and John Paul will discuss USA and Canada’s health care systems opportunities and challenges.

Speaker's Bios:

Paul Meade is President of Thought Leader Select
. He has more than 25 years of healthcare industry experience, spending most of his career working in the pharmaceutical industry for Merck and GlaxoSmithKline. Paul has held a variety of positions within sales and marketing, including roles in international marketing, business planning, and research and development. His consulting work spans areas such as communicating clinical trial results, patient flow analysis, publication planning and tracking, health outcomes, advisory board optimization, and other lifecycle management projects.

John E. Paul, PhD MSPH is Associate Chair for Academics, Health Policy and Management at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health at Chapel Hill. He currently teaches and advises students in the Undergraduate, Master's, and Doctoral programs in Health Policy and Management.

Prior to his tenure at UNC, he worked at RTI International as Vice President, Global Business Development and GlaxoSmithKline as Senior Director, Global Health Outcomes. He maintains involvement in global health projects and served as editor-in-chief for World Health & Population from 2005-2013.

His specialties include health policy and health care organization behavior; program evaluation, global health; pharmaceutical development, and outcomes research.

The Ingram Collection is a private collection of around 30 Porsches and is "one of the world's rarest collections of Porsche Motor Cars" starting from a 1956 356 GT to a 2006 Carrera GT.
